Realising potential

Our Approach

At Traxiom, we work with people to realise their true personal and/or business potential by helping them uncover their real strength.

Working together, we support people to uncover their real strength in 3 key ways:

  • Perspective – we act as a sounding board as you become more aware.

  • Focus – we guide you to build your resources and nurture your strengths so you use them well.

  • Growth – we encourage your ongoing development, and help you develop your relationship skills so you can share more broadly.

The result?

Your real strength supports you at work, in relationships, and improves your wellbeing. In fact it makes a more positive impact in every facet of your life.

But it doesn’t stop there.

The ripple effect of uncovering your real strength has a positive impact that is felt more broadly and deeply than any of us can really know.

Looking more deeply

What’s in a name?

Words matter greatly and they can really move us.

‘Traxiom’ is a word that reflects our philosophy and our approach to work. It means to ‘move with truth’.

An AXIOM, which is the core of our name, is a self-evident truth.

Truth is our why, what and how.

We think the world needs more truth.

The TR relates to the resources we offer.

These resources include:

  1. Tools & Techniques - to show how to implement concepts practically.

  2. Reflections & Research - to share the philosophy behind the tools.

On the surface, these tools are really simple. This is intentional.

It’s the philosophy behind the tools, and the way they’re used that makes the difference.

WHY?

We think the world needs more real talk.

People show the picture perfect images as they ‘bring their authentic self’ and ‘live their best life’. And there is a level of superficiality in our conversations as we rush to get on to the next task or attend the next event.

When you take the time to explore a little more deeply, the reality behind the scenes is often quite different from what people present on the surface. The rising instances of mental health issues, and the general discontent people feel, show that the way we’re actually living is far from supportive. The way we’re working is not really working.

If we buy into the ‘busy-ness as a badge of honour’ mentality, and compare our own life to the picture perfect life that others present, it can make us feel like we have to do more, and be better. If we work just that bit harder ‘everything will be ok’.

It’s actually not ok. In our conversations with clients they feel safe to share what’s really going on. We have seen this drive to achieve leads to feelings of inadequacy, or burnout - or both. We will never be enough if we try and be like everyone else.

We say ‘that’s enough’.

WHAT?

Rather than fake news, and polite conversation we’re here to get to the core of what makes each of us special.

We work with people to uncover their real strength, and develop their capacity to share it with others, so we can all live and work well. It’s making the move from functioning to flourishing.

We do this by supporting you to:

  • Look at what is unique to you - both what is innate, as well as what you’ve learned along the way.

  • Build your resources and nurture your strengths.

  • Develop your ability to relate well with others, and encourage everyone to play to their strengths.

HOW?

We coach and mentor people. We facilitate group interactions. We consult to businesses. We develop programs. We manage projects.

We confirm what’s working well and we challenge what’s not. We encourage you to look at the big picture AND the detail so you become more aware of how things impact all facets of life.

We are philosophical in our way of looking at things, and practical in our approach. We share what we see, from a place of care.

We look deeply. We think creatively. We share generously.

We do this with our clients. We do this for ourselves as well. And if you’re interested, we’d love to help you too.

We are curious.

We are creative.

And we really care.

The word ‘well’ is a small word with a lot of layers of meaning. For us, ‘to live & work well’ means to be:

  • Healthy & vital

  • Competent & capable

  • Connected to others

  • Positive & have a sense of purpose

  • Fulfilled & joyful

To feel like you’re really flourishing.
